Honestly underwhelming…..we kept getting told how great the fish is and that it gets flown in from Japan, but unless I’m really enjoying some sashimi what’s the point. It either covered in some sauce or spice. The spare ribs tasted like a slow roast, it came with a soy sauce for dipping and what appeared to be Parmesan cheese along with what might have been a peanut sauce. The lamb chops were extremely small and had little taste. The unique gyoza, probably the one thing that was okay. Drink menu is good. But honestly for two people at 160 with tip seems expensive. People were bringing young kids in there, unless there was fries somewhere on the menu I’m not sure I would bring them in there. I would t hard pass this place but I would only suggest the sushi.

The only reliable upscale restaurant we can find around here! The food and cocktails always hit– literally never had a miss at Fukuro. We loved the Lobster Mapo Tofu, Sukiyaki, and Kamameshi. My husband always orders the Asian Short Ribs. The house made soy sauce is so good it's drinkable and their sushi rolls are as fun as their nigiri is luxurious. Please don't ever close, Fukuro!

We had a fantastic time at fukuro!! The service and the sushi rolls were all top notch, easily the best sushi in the CSRA. The only downside if you’re really into sushi, the wasabi was not very spicy. I would happily return here whenever I crave sushi!!

Took my daughter here for her birthday and was pleasantly surprised. We usually go to sole or takosushi but my daughter picked this place this year. Yes the pricing may seem a tad high but that all went away when my food was brought out. We ordered a hunger games roll, sunlit roll and some appetizer roll that I cant remember the name to. Best sushi ive had in a long time, probably best in the area if I had to be honest. The atmosphere was great as well and service was top notch. Ms meyoung was our server and she was so nice and explained everything when we had questions. This is a definite go if you're in the area. Well worth the price.
